Virora

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Virora (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and how it is handled when you use virora.io.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed) and the profile details you add during onboarding.
  • Social profile data: for creator accounts, public statistics of the social media profiles you connect, such as follower counts, engagement and recent post performance. These come from the social platforms or from licensed data providers.
  • Campaign data: listings, including the payment methods a brand names on them, applications, bids and awards.
  • Messages: chats between brands and creators, and direct messages. We store them so they can be delivered.
  • Reports: reports you file or that are filed about you, including the reason, the details written in them, and the listing or chat they refer to.
  • Usage data: log and device information collected when you use Virora, used for security and to improve the product.

2. How we use data

  • Running the marketplace: showing listings to creators, showing creator profiles and statistics to brands, and running applications, auctions and chats.
  • Delivering chats and direct messages.
  • Handling purchases of listings, boosts and plans made through Paddle, and keeping billing records.
  • Reviewing reports, preventing fraud and abuse, and complying with legal obligations.
  • Communicating service updates. Marketing email only with your consent.

3. Payment data

Payments for listings, boosts and plans are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com, which collects your card and billing details. Virora never receives your card number. Virora keeps a record of each purchase: what was bought, the amount and Paddle’s transaction reference. See Paddle’s privacy policy.

Virora does not collect bank or payout details from creators. Brands pay creators directly with the payment methods named on the listing, and Virora does not process or track those payments. If you share payment details in a chat, such as a PayPal address, they are stored like any other message.

4. Processors and hosting

We use a small number of service providers to run Virora. Supabase provides the database, authentication and file storage. Paddle processes payments for listings, boosts and plans. Licensed social data providers supply public profile statistics. Providers process data under agreements limited to operating the service.

5. Sharing

Creator profiles and statistics are visible to brands on Virora, because that is how brands find creators. Listings are visible to creators. Chats and direct messages are visible to the people in them. Reports are read by the Virora staff who review them. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized within 90 days of account closure, except where longer retention is required for legal, tax, or dispute purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and Turkish KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights; we respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management.

We advertise Virora on Facebook and Instagram. To measure those ads, virora.io loads the Meta Pixel, which sets a Meta cookie and tells Meta when you view a page and when you finish creating your account. Meta may combine this with what it already knows about you to show ads and report results to us. We do not load the Meta Pixel if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, or if your device is set to a European time zone. You can also control ads from Meta in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

9. Changes

We will post updates to this policy on this page and announce material changes on Virora or by email.
